1. Program name and purpose

Program name: Shark Alert. The Program sends informational text messages about qualifying recent reports near a location and radius you select. It may also send confirmation, preference, pause, resume, and opt-out messages. It is not a marketing program.

2. How to enroll

You may enroll through a branded Shark Alert web form reached directly or by scanning a QR code. Enrollment requires a U.S. mobile number, alert preferences, an unchecked SMS consent box that you affirmatively select, and acknowledgment of the applicable terms and Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

3. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with reported observation activity and your settings. Some months may have no alert messages; active periods may generate multiple messages, plus service or support messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Shark Alert does not charge a subscription fee for the Program at this time.

4. Opt out

Reply STOP to stop Program messages. Carriers may also recognize keywords such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You may receive one final confirmation where permitted. You can also stop alerts through your secure management link. After opting out, reply START or enroll again to request messages, subject to carrier support.

5. Help

Visit sharkalert.app/help or email support@sharkalert.app.

6. Delivery and carrier limits

Delivery is subject to wireless-network and carrier availability and is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed, filtered, duplicated, or not delivered. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers and program availability may change without notice.

7. Number ownership

You represent that you are authorized to enroll the number provided. If your number is reassigned, disconnected, or transferred to another person, you must reply STOP or contact us before giving up the number. You may not enroll anyone else without their permission.

8. Safety limitation

Alerts describe recent reports, not a shark’s current location or future movement. Review the full Terms of Service and follow lifeguards, official beach notices, and emergency authorities.

9. Privacy

We use your mobile information to operate and secure the Program as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile information or SMS consent records with third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes.

10. Changes and contact

Maestro Technologies may change or end the Program and update these terms. If legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain new consent. Questions may be sent to support@sharkalert.app.
